A fREE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

tHURSDAY jUNE 27TH

hOPE sPRINGS aDULT dAY cARE cENTER, INC

IN CONJUNCTION WITH aaRP

People of all ages and physical conditions want to live where getting around is easy and there’s support from neighbors and government, where we can play a part in important public decisions and know our family's housing is secure. These are all parts of what AARP calls Age-Friendly Communities and Don Lindsey, AARP volunteer leader, will talk about how Knoxville is participating in the Age-Friendly Network, as well as giving some information about how senior drivers are doing on the road (might be a surprise there!) and AARP’s Driver Safety program. Don retired in 2016 from AAA in Tennessee after more than 39 years conducting traffic safety, public affairs and public relations efforts and has earned the Director's Award from the TN Highway Safety Office. FREE, RSVP requested by calling the center, 865.377.3924, or email, vcw.hopespringsadcc@gmail.com.
